Specialist Scar Treatment

What causes acne scarring?

Scarring develops as a complication of acne. Any type of acne can lead to scarring, but it’s more common with inflammatory acne, often presenting as deep nodules and cysts. If acne breakouts happen deep within the skin, it will result in tissue damage. The body will then work hard to heal these wounds, which triggers collagen production. If too little or too much collagen is produced, you’ll see scarring. You can also be at increased risk of scarring if spots are picked, so it’s very important to avoid doing this.

Types of acne scarring:

  • Ice pick scars – small, deep holes in the surface of your skin that look like puncture
    wounds
  • Rolling scars – caused by bands of scar tissue that form under the skin, giving the
surface of the skin an uneven or rolling appearance
  • Boxcar scars – round or oval craters in the skin

How does the Specialist Scar Treatment work?

Purified DNA fragments called PDRN (Salmon derived) are carefully micro injected directly into each individual acne scar.
This is then followed with a full face polynucleoutides specfically created to work in harmony with the micro injections. This ensures all layers of the skin are targeted.
Think of PDRN as a biological message in a bottle that tells your skin:
“Calm the inflammation, grow new vessels, and rebuild your support structure.”
Instead of forcing change (like some fillers or lasers), PDRN nudges your skin to regenerate naturally by activating its own repair pathways.

The results of Specialist Scar Treatment?

  • Reduced redness and inflammation
  • Restored lost volume in depressed scars without the need for fillers.
  • Smooth and refined skin texture
