What is Microneedling?
Microneedling is a minimally invasive skin treatment that either uses a manual or electronic device with sterilised fine needles to create controlled micro-injuries in the skin.
This helps to activate the body’s wound-healing response to stimulate collagen and elastin production which improves the condition of the skin such as fine lines and wrinkles, scarring, pigmentation and skin texture.
Downtime is very minimal with skin showing signs of redness for 24-48 hours and mild flaking after 2-3 days. Multiple sessions may be needed depending on skin concerns.
